Meagan Varecha is an art educator and community instructor passionate about helping learners of all ages discover their creative potential. She began her education career in 2022 when she accepted a long-term substitute position teaching high school art at Spokane Public Schools. From that eye-opening experience, she found a love teaching and interest in advocating for arts and arts education.
Varecha pursued a Master's in Teaching degree from Whitworth University, certified in teaching K-12 art education from Washington State. Since then, she has had the joy of teaching a variety of visual art medias including photography, digital art, painting, printmaking, drawing, and so much more. Varecha's teaching philosophy is centered around leading with empathy and the belief anyone is capable of creating, encouraging each artist to see the value of their unique perspective.
